The 90S+ is a single fibre core alignment fusion splicer, setting a new standard in the market for fusion splicing and has been specifically developed to help users work faster with greater precision.
With market first, fully automated features, it’s active blade management technology (ABMT) improves the efficiency of the CT50 cleaver, resulting in increased productivity and reduced costs. Thanks to Active Fusion Control Technology (AFCT), the 90S+ analyses the condition of the cleave end face to perform optimal fusion control and minimise splice loss.
The 90S+ delivers a reduction in overall splice process time when compared to the previous 70S+ model, due to the combination of improvements in the reaction time of the automated wind protectors and automated heater, new fibre retention clamps and improved universal sheath clamps. The redesigned internal structure which matches the protection sleeve to the fusion splice point, successful splicing is accomplished without the need for the user to touch the 90S+ once the process has started.
