This extended battery module (EBM) by Eaton is intended to provide additional backup capacity during extended power outages. It is structured in a 2U rack/tower format to work with 9SX 5 and 6 kVA rackmount UPS devices and it includes a cable for connecting to the UPS. To get the desired backup, multiple modules can be connected in parallel.
